I think his point is free education, free healthcare and so on aren't free. It just means the government takes our money and spends it on that, instead of us spending it ourselves. And it's bad because private companies are way more efficient than the public ones. If they weren't, the Soviet Union would not have lost the Cold War.

Clearly the money is there. It's one thing if Burkina Faso can't provide health care, I can understand that. But is there not enough wealth in the US, probably the country in the history of the world that most celebrates its own opulence, to let people see a doctor for 10min without paying for the visit? Obviously there is.

Doctors and teachers have the right to work for money. And if they work for money, then it's not free. So, what you are saying is that it's a basic right to have your education and healthcare paid by somebody else.

There's no empirical evidence which shows that private education is preferable.

And how do you achieve this with no labor exactly? I'm assuming we've sent all the police, prosecutors, lawyers, judges and prison staff home because we couldn't pay them, is that correct?
