Gandhi was notoriously racist. Not saying his statue should be removed or anything, just that he wasn't an all perfect paragon of virtue.
A racist Asian? Tell me it isn't so

There are quite a few pubs called "The Black Boy" in England. Of course they now all have to change their names, take their signs down, etc. Almost all of them are named after King Charles II, which was his nickname. This is for two reasons - he was a Stuart king. Stuart comes from the Old Norse word "svart" which means "black". Also he had a dark complexion - if you had dark hair and tanned skin in those days you were also given the nickname "black". Others tend to be named after coal mine workers.

However there are a couple of signs that do need to be removed, imo, as over time they have been changed to show an actual black boy.

Reminds me that the same Marvel & Disney, which is virtue signalling on social media now, removed black characters from their movie posters for chinese market. Clearly some basement dwelling assault rifle owner in MAGA hat is the true evil on our planet :agree:

Looks like BLM and ActBlue are rent-seeking scams for the Dems, shocking. I'll be sure not to donate any money to them.

The second isn't entirely correct. The "problem" is actually the solution for them, as without the notion of systemic racism everywhere, nobody would vote for these freaks. That's their only leg to stand upon, lecturing the masses on the color of your skin, which makes them modern day slave drivers.

I agree with most of what he/she wrote except pretty much everything about George Floyd. "Home invaders like George Floyd". If sanitizing Floyd's past is bad, bringing his past into any argument that's even remotely justifying his death or finding how he was killed predictable is much worse and kind of tells me why the sanitization happened in the first place. Floyd had been punished for what he had done period. The rule of law gave him another chance, every religion would give him another chance, but to the biggest self-proclaimed supporters of law and order and followers of Christianity, he was still a home invader criminal.
His death was unjustified and unjustifiable. Anyway he was arrested for using fake money,so clearly he didn't care about his "second chance" much.

As media watch US uprisings, EU has a racism problem, too: The European Union has little ground for finger-pointing when it comes to racism. EU countries are by no means free of discrimination and violence — and calls for change are growing louder.

Am I the only one who think it's wrong to give people representation based on % of racials present?
Just because there are 10% of X so 10% should be given to them with out any merit beside the racial issue?

So milions of africaans migrated to Europe in recent years and they get power simply cause the moved there? with most of countries not wanting them at all?

Crazy how some fundamentalists spill their shit protected by the "racism" argument basically wanting to shut up any opposition cause "c'mon you can't discus racism"

Also to me most of those euro protests are millenials that wanna get "famous" + looters and rioters which get an excuse to get criminal and hide behind mass of rioters

his death was unfair and horrible no doubt. But that doesn't mean that after his death his life was sanctified just because he was unfairly killed over no reason.
You can and should criticize and punish the police officers not justify anything Floyd simply cause he was murdered..

The Viking that says is a shamed because people of color are about 10% of the EU and only 3% in European Parliament is lying.

Approximately 20 million non-Europeans live in the EU, 4% of the overall population.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_the_European_Union#Demographic_future

More and more importing non Europians to Europe, more and more problems will follow, divisions, segregation, racial cultural and religious tensions etc. Political leaders acknowledge this and still push for it...meh! It will not end well.

The activists notably criticize quotes from a book published in 2015 by two South African writers, which found that the anti-colonialist activist considered Indians to be infinitely superior to "kaffirs," a derogatory term used to refer to black Africans.
I like how we judge with our eyes of 2020 a 30-year-old Indian young man in 1904 in South Africa. What arrogance of our time.
These prejudices in the context of the time and circumstances were commonplace, all these African countries were still colonies, societies were not multi-ethnic that today, but they evolved and learned to overcome certain differences. No doubt that in 2020 he wouldn't have said the same thing.
But did Ghandi acknowledge that trans women are real women?

The comments, lol, wonder if they will stick to their opinions,if this happens to their property.
Fake news. Everything in any Walmart doesn't add up to more than $1500 in value.

I think quotas are wrong. We don't go finding someone who is half Eskimo for a senate seat just because we are off 0.5% on representation in a 100-person Senate.

But you start wandering into the Italien bloooood argument when it comes to migrating Africans. Are you a citizen or are you not a citizen? None of this half-measure crap.

If you are a citizen, what is the whole f'ing point if you don't get representation within a representative government?

We'll set aside the red herring of humans having legacy birthrights to land for a moment, because unless you're a pygmy in northern Ethiopia we're all frigging immigrants and invaders. And even the land beneath us is eroding, changing, cropping up from the bottom of the ocean to become the peaks of the Himalayas, etc.

How is this different from the NRA and other conservative organizations funneling money to the conservatives?
Also, if Trump was passing legislation as an outsider and trying to change the status quo, you'd have a point. Instead, he's passing legislation based on what long time Republican donors want and is appointing people to office based on their wealth and their connections to him instead of appointing them based on ability or qualifications.
It's laughable to consider Trump as anti-establishment. He's probably the most establishment guy to be president in a long long time.

it's not about historic or whatever man but power and holding the land you got with fighting and killing in millenia
Imagine Africa 1.2b people, mostly poor. What happens if 300.000.000 moves to Europe just cause they want so?
Should Italy/Europe give up ownership simply cause they wanna move here? no.
America has strict policy with Green cards. Europe much open compared but not that good.
So I'm not into faking acceptance. My garden, my way , my rule and my choice. Nothing about racism would be the same with Japs,Russians if they were hording 50-100-200k/year. Crazy if you think about it
