You’d be surprised how many people feel that way about trump. I’m like 90% sure he’s getting re-elected
I’m 90% sure too. There are a lot of morons out there, and the Democrats can’t take advantage of how disgusting a turd Trump is because they have decided to be the party obsessed with stupidly progressive identity politics that are extremely unpopular amongst half the population.

im a liberal but libcuck tears still crack me up for some reason. Maybe dems need to stop electing fuckfaces like Hillary, should’ve been Bernie last election and they’d have won
Bernie’s honeymoon will be over the moment he wins the nomination. He’s going to be heavily attacked on being socialist, raising taxes, and more importantly disrupting the health insurance system by canceling all private insurance coverages.

With everything Trump says and does his popularity should be in single digits. The fact that it’s in high 40s says a lot. He will need to convince a few college educated independents that canceling their private health insurance is a bad idea. That’ll give him enough edge to hold off Bernie.

Would Bernie have been the first communist US president?
FDR according to your definition I assume.

You greatly underestimate the turnout Bernie would receive from young people that do not normally vote.[/QUOTE]

While that might be true, youth in California and New York voting en mass is not going to do Bernie any good. They key for Dems winning back the presidency is middle class suburban people, which they did very well with in the midterms. But those are exactly the kind of people who would not like the idea of gutting the entire health insurance system.

Is there someone somewhere in the mould of Obama? I always thought he was unfortunate to have to deal with a recession at the beginning of his presidency and did decent all things considered. The US made a lot better impression internationally during his time than with George W. Bush.

Don't know much about Bloomberg except that he's a rich important figure, fprmer NYC mayor and more "center" leaning than the others

I would assume that you'd see higher turnout in pretty much every state, there are plenty of university towns/cities in most states.

what does it matter who gets elected or not?
In the end they're gonna just posers while those who decide will still lurk in the shadows
I don't get why people still believe in elections it's like believing in religion

You think the world would be exactly the same as it is now if Hillary had won? Or Bernie? Or Kasich?

Deval Patrick, who entered the race 2 weeks ago is aspiring to be Obama II. But it's a different country than when Obama got elected. Patrick doesn't have any money, since he just joined, and his post-governorship job in Bain Capital is just an easy target for more left leaning candidates. Other than that it's hard for any of the candidates to bring together a coalition like Obama did. Although they may not need that kind of broad coalition given how retarded Trump is.

lol denying the role of political power in your daily life is exactly the type of thing that will enable autocrats.

Maybe. I genuinely think Texas is in play if the right candidate is nominated. Immigration to Texas from other states is crazy. It's kind of ironic that this economy boom might sway Texas to the other direction. Too bad I won't be here when that happens.
But "cancelling private insurance" is exactly the kind of position that will drive people who benefit from this economy boom away.

it's the best shot he has imo, people may vote democrat just because they're tired of trump but yeah, unlikely to win. it's hilarious, the most retarded person becomes president and the dems still can't come up with a good solution.

i've got my hopes up for bernie tho, hoping people wake up and realize he wants what's best for them.

It would've been hilarious if Ted Cruz lost Texas to Beto. The shift is going to happen eventually?

Why? Private insurance sucks, it's not like anyone genuinely likes their insurance company. It's all a scam.
