Let’s be honest do any governments truly care about the people ? We’re a means to their power. Placating the masses gets you stroke.
You are so all over the place it's funny. It's okay if you don't have an opinion on something that has nothing to do with you or is far too complicated for you to understand. So again, given your opinion of governments and people, why is Iran deal a shitty one?

When we elect a politician we choose the devil who most aligns with our mind set. Fully knowing that politicians are what they are
I love this statement and the fact that you voted for Trump.

Beautiful.

Certainly not by American standards. My views are pretty left leaning in America, but many Europeans would consider me center right.
Yeah, what a bunch of commies they are.

It actually is not that bad of a deal from nukes perspective. Iran is free from the deal in 10 years, but not free to build nukes since US and Europe, also free from the deal, will bring back sanctions in no time of even take military action if there's any indication that Iran is moving towards that direction. The issue with Iran deal is that US had a huge leverage with the sanctions system and could use it to negotiate something beyond nuclear matter. That might be a valid criticism, but it's also all in hindsight since you don't know how much Iran was willing to give up anyway. Also, US supporting Saudi Arabia's exploits in Yemen hardly has the moral high ground to stop Iran from meddling in the region.
Withdrawing from the deal is probably the worst option US has at this moment. Iran hardliners will block any new attempt on negotiations even if economy collapses (Rial has lost half of its value since November). Regular people will also be baffled how US can go back on a deal they signed themselves.
You're telling me this? :p AIPAC members are collectively touching themselves over this rhetoric too of course, don't forget about them.

Yemen is the new Syria, but no one cares because they were always poor to begin with. We're all doing an excellent job of sowing the seeds for future terrorist organizations in the region :agree:.

I was just trying to give a perspective of those opposing the deal. The worst loser of that deal was Israel and Saudi Arabia, so no wonder they are all over this.
Yemen is mirror image of Syria. Saudi Arabia and US claim they are there because the legitimate government of Yemen invited them. Iran and Russia claim the same thing in Syria. Middle East after Iraq war is a shit show like no other.

. I think the opposition (of those who have at least a general idea about it and don't just parrot Trump) are mostly just "why should we give them anything!!?!?1/!/1?!1?!?!?," considering they don't understand that otherwise would be to violate another nation's sovereignty. But of course, this is ignored because we're MURICA and can do as we please. Allegedly.
I don't know what we need with Yemen to be honest with you, other than supporting Saudi Arabia to grow their influence in the region. Russia in Syria makes sense though, they need a friendly government in the region. Does any other nation but them allow Russian military access? No, right?
I know I sound like a broken record, but go back even farther than that. I think we both know to where :p

 as you said the (sort of) valid criticism to this deal is that with that leverage US could get more and give up less (or nothing). This statement might be true on its own, but collapses totally when other US actions in Middle East is brought up. For instance this Atlantic article argues that a better deal would've resulted in less casualties in Syria, but conveniently forgets about Yemen.

I think some way back in the Bernardeschi thread Deneb asked AC if he was a trump supporter.

It escalated from there.

Shortly into this I sent AC a rep and recommended he be easy but too no avail :disagree:

 really that's what triggered this? Also i asked him if he's ever been to a trump rally because of how ferociously self agrandizing his posting was that day, it seemed that could have inspired it.
