Don't you think you ought to be a little bit more respectful towards your government? At least according to Romans 13:1-7 it is an establishment of God.
Jesus just says give to Ceaser what is Ceasers and to God what is God’s and yes we should follow the laws of the land unless they are contrary to Gods law.

I think some way back in the Bernardeschi thread Deneb asked AC if he was a trump supporter.

It escalated from there.

Shortly into this I sent AC a rep and recommended he be easy but too no avail :disagree:
It’s a little difficult to be easy when i am getting called every name under the sun and no one cares. If I would have posted what maddy posted I would have been permanently banned

I am not talking about abiding laws of the land, I'm talking about respect towards government, do you disagree with what is written in letter to Romans/interpret it differently? Not trying to shame you or prove you wrong, just genuinely interested as over the top government bashing seems to be super popular for many Christians and I've always felt it doesn't go along well with the verses I mentioned.

Respect doesn’t mean I have to agree and trust. I respect my government by following the laws and being a good citizen that’s what that means. Just because I don’t trust them and or support everything my government does it doesn’t mean I don’t respect it.

Incredible. You are so ignorant that you simply fail to see the problem and complexity of the fucking question to begin with. The entire point is that the two may conflict and that it is difficult to say which you should follow.

It’s not difficult for me. God first country second. Once again your arrogant superiority just doesn’t want to see what I said.

What does educating myself have anything to do with it! You arrogant Buffon! Gods law is above everything for me! God first family then country. It’s not rocket science. Just because God and faith means zero to you it’s not that way for billions

Are you fucking serious? You think you invented God? How do you think you know about the fucker in the first place?

Oh. And I think you should have written 'What does educating myself have to do with it'. I'm not a native English speaker, so I might be wrong, but I kind of have the feeling that you in fact are a native English speaker and your grammar is just sad.

Also, it's pretty damn funny that you call me arrogant while you think you have all the (easy even) answers to age-old questions that have divided humanity for thousands of years.

yeah, but doesn't respect mean that you should be respectful towards the politicians and those in charge and not call them devils, f.e.? :D

No it doesn’t. I respect the laws not the people. The people could be garbage I don’t have to go along with their personal likes dislikes etc.

I have never stated I have any answers. They are my beliefs and my answers. You guys are the ones who think your intellectual Gods and talk down to people like you have all the answers. You can shout all you want it doesn’t make you right because you believe different

Have you ever thought about your beliefs?

Compared to you we are intellectual gods though. That's pretty much a fact at this point.

Yes I think about them all the time. My religious belief years ago a lot of research and prayer. My political beliefs have evolved. When I was younger I was more liberal as I got more involved with my business and faith I grew more and more conservative.
