btw, the bomb is a pin drop compared to even the smallest nuclear weapons. Blast radius is lethal only for a few hundred meters. it's like saying the biggest person in a midget convention. it's obviously just a show of force. a bunch of smaller bombs are probably more effective. Could have even been a live test for NK.

you're really dumb if you think 95,000 died from that
He should drop them on Australia. Much less population density too.

Nobody mentioned 95,000 deaths. But that's as okay as a terrorist attack in a stadium that seats 80,000 people, cause it's dumb to think that a suicide bomber can kill them all.

Held responsible for what? I was never for the war in Afghanistan, Iraq, or any of the other infamous wars_for_whatever.
I know. And although nothing surprises me about you anymore, the fact that you were against all those wars is exactly why I still don't get why you are a Trump supporter.

The difference is that he did not hide what he's going to do. He showed to the world that he's unstable, yet his supporters did not believe him.
The other presidents at least tried to hide their intentions.
Exactly.

Disregarding whether the strikes are justified or not, the tone of discourse in the US on the matter is sickening. No regard for human lives whatsoever.

And of course the commanded in chief himself takes the cake, quite literally.
meh everyone's a hypocrite. Plenty of same people condemning this action as unconscionable still want Trump to broaden US intervention in Syria

Let's not bomb ISIS, let's send them flowers instead. I'm sure it will work well :baus:

 Did you really end up voting for him? $#@! you! What an absolute imbecile.
I did not vote for Obama by the way, and I know it's beyond the level of your intelligence, but he did not show anything in the campaign that he's as trigger happy as your idol.
No, fuck you. Obama started the whole campaign against Syria. Back then, we didn't hear a peep out of you. But now that Trump is behind it, you're crying like a bitch. You're nothing more than a whiny libtard.

What the fuck do you know? I joined this forum in 2012 and were not even active till 2014 or so. Seriously, what the fuck do you know about me?
Obama's foreign policy was a disaster. And yet, people like you justify an asshole who remembers the dessert he ate but not the country he bombed with "but Obama..."
I honestly don't know what you are. I feel a great deal of sympathy for people who voted Trump out of desperation that government didn't do shit in their lives. You don't seem to be among them. So enjoy the president you voted for.

Wow. You've really gone downhill. Take responsibility for your life man. Obama didn't make unhappy, you did.

You should be held responsible for all the kids Obama killed and his pedo friends raped.

You are a complete and utter retard.

I would have blood on my hands if I authorized the attack, or dropped the bombs. Considering I did neither... well, you're just another moron.
I don't think you get how voting works. You voted this man in office. And you did it out of spite because you're unhappy. And that choice now has people dying. Congratulations, Andy. You've hit a new low.

Andy is one of those confused morons who advocates bombing the middle east back into the Stone Age. As long as American ground troops aren't deployed he's perfectly happy with Trump bombing the shit out of pretty much any foreign nation that dares go against the good ol' US of A.

But but but... "libtards... obama.. hilary..."

What's surprising about me choosing Trump over Hillary?
That you were fooled by a person who represents exactly what you have said you are against in that past several years that I know you. A lying deceitful greedy impulsive narcissit with a history of not giving a shit about "smaller" people: that guy fooled you. What's sad is that Trump was that person as a businessman, and you trusted him as the most important political figure in your country. You said you hated politicians who sold themselves to big corporations. Trump was one of those who had bought politicians for decades. He openly boasted about it in his campaigns. You voted that guy. The only way i could understand it was if you were a religious freak like that little lowlife in this thread.

Trump is doing exactly what Andy didn't want the next president of the US to be doing. And instead of recognising his glaring mistake, he chooses to go deeper into the abyss. Why? Because acknowledging a mistake means taking personal responsibility. He refuses to do so. I'm not joking when I say that Andy's the kind of person who would be guarding the camps.

And what's even worse, @Bjerknes, is that you are the way you are, because you're a spoilt little brat. You grew up all your life thinking you were special. You were exceptional. You just knew you were. You probably chose some major in college no one had heard of because it was special too. And then it turned out there was no job waiting for you. So you took some weak ass boring lowlife job, earning you 25k a year, keeping you alive and comfortable, but really doing nothing for you in terms of money or kicks. And instead of blaming yourself, because you had every opportunity in life to be more, but blew them all, you prefer to go down the typical white male in his thirties route. You grow ever more right and bitter. If only you didn't have to pay so many taxes, if only there weren't so many goddamn libtards, if only the Mexicans would go back.. Fuck no, Andy. Even if everything you wanted happened, even if you got everything handed to you on a silver platter, you'd still find a way to lose it all. Because deep down you know that's what you are. A loser. A fucking cliché.

I don't think you got what I meant.

I was talking about the tone of discourse, the way war is talked about by most mainstream media, commentaries, and now even the president himself.

War is always awful. Bombings are always awful. They always mean death and suffering of both people who probably deserved it as well as people who were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Of course war and bombs can sometimes be justified, even necessary. Against ISIS, military action certainly is justified. But you have to be aware of their horrific consequences at all time and for every single strike you take.

Now looking at how Trump boasts about the greatness of America's bombs and pays more attention to his dessert than the countries he bombs, it becomes clear that this guy has no idea what the consequences of his actions are. And I get the same impression from the general tone most mainstream sources and 'experts' are talking about the issue, let alone comment sections.

I also can not help but think that it is exactly this attitude towards war and the military that is at the root of many of the US' foreign policy ventures of the past decades. And while I'm not saying that this is a uniquely American phenomena, the US is most definitely the place where it is by far most dominant from any country I've ever seen.

It is sickening how everybody is talking about these events. I get it, most of them live on the other side of the planet in a worm and cozy place and have no idea but still some thought that these actions are everyday events (like raining bombs) of syrian people life, people just like you and me. How fucking awful it would be to live in a place where 50 bombs in a neighbourhood would be just another day in a week.

No sympathy or empathy in them, that is fucked up. And all this does it devalues even more the life of these middle eastern people everyday. These comments in such light hearted manner only adds to the brainwashing that somehow their life is not important in grand scheme of things.

Fucked up things.

This casual reckless attitude is something that almost seems typically American.

But remember it has hurt a lot of Americans too. Whenever they're off to war they still act like the British in 1914. 'Home by Christmas', you know? So freaking naive. And then they come back without legs.
