I don't vote because i don't believe in democracy as a viable political system, as a matter of fact just as with feudal systems of the past, it is a dead system in our era
You lived a single day in your life under a brutal corrupt dictatorship?

Lol The irony is he looks like he is in a college dorm attempting a higher education then you see what he is writing and realize no one will ever take him seriously.

I never would have guessed you were a Marxist-Leninist... :p
Coz it's actually quite the opposite

You lived a single day in your life under a brutal corrupt dictatorship?
That's relevant to the idea how?

I'm not sure I've sold out democracy, but I've come to believe any system can be better or worse depending most on the people who implement it. Socialism, autocracy, democracy... they seem to matter less to me than the people who might be screwing you over as leaders.

But with democracy I'd argue it's far less likely, since there are strong mechanisms in place to keep individual leaders from fucking shit up completely.

Not that "democracy" isn't an extremely broad term and all systems have their flaws.

For the US, it is already a federal oligarchy
But you are very much a pragmatist from what I've seen on this forum, what is the "best system" for the US today, relatively speaking?

At the very least, decentralization via a return to more state autonomy, making Washington less of a focus and the US political sphere as a whole harder to control. For national security and foreign affairs do it rotational a la UN security Council with state reps, president is more of a figurehead with limited duties and influence.
