Bubba Ho-Tep

Very funny. Elvis, elderly and relying on a Zimmer frame, and JFK, wheelchairbound and black, take on an soul-sucking mummy who has been killing their friends.

It's mostly farce, which works very well, but the funniest moments occur when Elvis deals with the realities of old age.

Recommended for Bruce Campbell fans, and anyone who doesn't mind the plot being a bit mental if the rest of it's hillarious.

And I just saw what's probably one of my favorites this year just last weekend: The Motorcycle Diaries -- about Ernesto (Che) Guavara and his famous South American road trip with Alberto Granado in 1952. Even if you set aside his personal historical relevance, it's a beautifully made movie that tells a great story of his transformation from a more provincial medical student in Buenos Aires into a primordial revolutionary.

I saw that one today and I liked it a lot! It was pretty interesting. It also was in spanish, but I couldnt help reading the damn english subtitles!

watched "white chicks". just another feel-good movie which brought a smile, but nothing spectacular.

also watched "sky captain". it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, but honest.. you don't find recent movies really wrenching lately. this is another typical movie.

Just saw Collateral, quite liked it. In portions of course, it was like a Bollywood production (we're famous for making the hero of the story invincible - can take on 10 guys at a time without getting a scratch)

Neway back to the movie, good performances from everyone. I still cant believe Tom Cruise hasnt won an Oscar in such a long and distinguished career.

i just came back from bride and prejduice and this is waay btter, then bend it like beckham and they did a good job on the casting.
i loved it!

Yep. I dont know if any of yu ppl notice, but in most of his movies, he usually repeats words and to make up for it, blends it in to the intensity of the dialogue. At least thats what i feel. Coz it cant just be that every movie has him repeating words over.

actually i kinda noticed that he dosent get a lot of lines that need alot of talking, never really though about him repating should keep an eye on that
