I saw that a while back. I didn't like it. It felt kind of pointless, unstructured. As a slice of life in that area, it was odd, sad, angry and ashamed at the weakness of man's civilisation, but that didn't carry it as a film for me.

I loved Brick. Kind of a modern Noir. Joseph Gordon Levitt is a very underrated actor. Another movie he did called The Lookout is worth a watch. The dialogue isn't as snappy, but it has a solid plot.

Kung Fu Panda

Mongol: Nice scenery and depiction of Mongol life, but awful as a historical depiction of Ghenghis Khan, really is (miss hit royally on even the mos basic historical facts). But if one ignores its trying to show him the historical figure, and just concentrate on showing 12th century Mongolia, then its pretty good, even if unfocused movie (too ambitious in trying to show 20 years of his life, botches it up in a messy way).
