Just finished Mongol. I really enjoyed the film as I am very unaware of the history of Genghis Kahn's early life. Setting was breath taking, the score perfect, and the action intense. I watched it without subtitles and even though I couldn't understand a word anyone said, the film was easy enough to follow. I attribute that to a well written, well directed script. The director really impressed me in this one. It could have easily gone "Golden Horde" which would have been on long battle sequence. I'm glad he chose to follow the beginning.
