21.

What a pathetic movie.Had one of the worst, most predictable endings known to mankind.I dont know what Spacey was thinking when he signed for this role.He can act well when he wants to,but his his choice in movies can be absoloutley shocking at times. He wasnt even the lead in 21,but that doesnt make the movie any better.I know its based on a book..i havent read the book, but fuck that. The movie was awful.
dumb movie

Oh for christ sake so now Nicolas Cage is blacklisted? If you wanna be so badass about this you better tell me that you sent Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Mike Myers and about half the actors in Hollywood to Guantanamo.
the shit parcel are stamped and on their way. do not get me wrong he has preoduced some excellent performances but for me he will always be best suited to playing serious roles or something just off centre. i always feel he lacks the charisma for the sort of action roles he clearly enjoys playing. leaving las vegas,23 mm,raising arizona are all excellent and he nails the performances in these sort of films but when it comes to playing a gun totting psycho (face off) a professional car their(gone in 60 seconds) or a laughable convict(con air) he just fails to convince me that he has the rawness required to pull of the character.

The Rock was pretty good, Con Air was decent, The Lord of War was fantastic but....he was best in Captain Corelli's Mandolin. I love that movie.

Seriously. :D
not seen it but i expect it is the type of role he is best suited to

Don't hate on The Rock. That movie owns.
the rock is a rather average movie with a very good turn by sir shhhhean and with the obligatory death of michael bein (does this guy have a clause that says he has to die in EVERY film?) it really is overrated,an enjoyable watch but instantly forgettable

You're what...6-7 years older than me? We didn't watch the movie in the same manner, if you know what I mean.

Besides, you're too Salman and Vlat-esque when it comes to movies. :D

See now why couldn't you have said that instead of "he sucks" and "I will never take anything you say seriously ever again". :faq2:

Fair enough, you have a point. Personally Leaving Las Vegas (favorite movie of a friend of mine back in junior high) bored me to tears. 23mm I presume you mean 8mm? That one was just disturbing but yes Nicky was quite good.

Face Off was just comical in several different ways. That scene where the bald bad guy repeats "face off" with that hand gesture like it's some artistic expression is fantastic. :D Still, I quite liked parts of it. The scene where Travis turns up in jail dazzled me.

Con Air I loved actually. I agree he is rather comical. Thought Malkovich was great in that one. As for The Rock it's a personal favorite going way back, also because the score is an absolute killer.

Gone in 60 was pretty lame, yeah :D

:D Anime is great, and you're missing out on some incredibly great shows with oscar worthy plots and characters.

To each his own though
