Ive only seen Ocean's 11,and it was enjoyable.Andy Garcia makes a neat villain, and Brad Pitt did a good job.But Clooney..:inter:

The guy could pull off the greatest performance in history and ill still hate him.

It is a bit like a modern version of The Day of the Jackal, which was an excellent novel by Frederick Forsyth. Unfortunately, make a movie of it (1973) and you lose so many details and nuances that all you have left is the contours of the original story.
absolutely, forsyth was a master of the genre

the modern movie was an abomination
Yes i'm aware of that, i was actually going to get the book, needless to say though the movie gave me enough reason not to.
trust the man, go get the book it is superb. like the bourne mivies the story you see o film is only loosely associated with the brilliant written works

Clooney's range is a crazy big. And to think he got his break on Roseanne.
It's easy to hate on the guy because of all the shittier movies and tv series he was in, but in the end he did have some very good movies as well and I see very few reasons to dislike him as a person.

Unless you wouldn't get the irony when he's knocking at your door with a Martini bottle in his hand though.

Bozi my man, it's like we're of the same mind here. Your brilliant description of Moore Bond has me cracking up to this day :D

The Shawshank Redemption.
I know I should've watched it much earlier...

A real awful ending
