shawshank is a superb movie just went and seen the departed, great film but not the classic people were making it to be

A few people bash Shawshank as overrated, but it has a wonderful ability to make me feel for the charactors setbacks and triumphs. That and the Morgan Freeman voiceover.

Actually, just the Morgan Freeman voiceover. Seriously. Remember March of the Penguins...

I'm not going to watch The Departed. Anyone who remakes a 90 minute film as a 150min film without adding anything of substance is in my bad books.

Actually, anyone who remakes a film without good reason is in my bad books.
