After seeing this trailer, I absolutely must see Zardoz:

Sean Connery must be embarrassed beyond comprehension that this lives in his past...

And yes, that really is a signed promotional movie still of him wearing the same hooker boots he wears in the movie.

Good flick. But I still think it doesn't match either the scripting of Cidade de Deus nor the gritty reality of Bus 174 from its two co-creators.

Better than Cidade De Deus, agree?

Edit: you probably thought that one was boring. :p
Cidade de Deus, IMO, was the best flick I've seen in the past 15 years.

Cidade De Deus is probably a better film but the "macho" vibe from this one simply wins it for me. Loved the theme song. :D
Tihuana. You should check out the unofficial soundtrack floating around. A bit of the Baile Funk thing (MC Cidinho & Doca, Funk Antigo, etc.). What's weird is a lot of that music is illegal in Brazil, and literally called "Ilegal".

I bought that movie twice (the first time for almost $40 through colombia house - one of those buy one, get 5 movies free deals or something)...

Both times it got ripped off... either at large house parties... Or maybe I leant it out while mangled and forgot where I sent it. Either way, it left and didn't come back.

That's why I love this thread... hadn't thought of it in awhile. I'm going to download it this time though...

Thank you for that, sir. Gotta check it out.

It is brilliant, I had that feeling after first watching it.

I looked around everywhere and can't find the soundtrack. Care to lend a hand?

Did you get it from KG?

I got it from there yesterday but I don't think I have time to watch it anytime soon.
Nope. Got a BluRay rip from HDBits. Only watch 720p on my LCD.
