It's a TV mini series six episodes long IIRC. It's about HIV/AIDS in New York in the eighties (I saw it last year, because I studied the subject). Al Pacino is Roy Cohn. Quite a different role for him.

It's very good.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm sure Fincher made changes. Most directors do when they use adapted screenplays.

Meh... DPs adjust lighting and such mid scene a lot on films. Most though don't distract the actors. Apparently it was during the most intense scene in the movie. So that explains why Bale was so pissed.

He sounds totally insane dickhead in that clip. He went beyond the level of being frustrated of someone messing with his scene. Taking his acting seriously bit doesnt justify that pathetically deranged reaction.
