is it ? I always heard about Philidelphia this, Philidelphia that but never bothered to watch it.
It's a pretty solid flick, but its not so much the movie that makes it good as it is the content it covered at the time it covered it. It's a very powerful image of the early years of the AIDS crisis in America. There is another AIDS movie called And The Band Played On which is better.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

Ive seen it almost 3 times now,and its one of those timeless classics. Its amazing how the 70's produced so many movies that have stood the test of time..Godfather 1 and 2,Serpico,Taxi Driver,One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest,Chinatown,Dog Day Afternoon,The begining of the Star Wars movies etc.It is definatley THE era when you talk about music, and even music. This era gave birth to probably the largest number of entertainment icons.

Coming back to One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest,i end up hating Nurse Rachet more and more everytime:The voting scene is a classic. One of the greatest scenes ever IMO.All in all,you could watch this movie a million times, and it still wouldnt lose its charm.Jack Nicholson is truly the master of disturbed characters alongside De Niro.
