What are you favorites of 2015?
Here's some.. but I'll metion that I watched very, very little due to my fucked up shifts/job

Ex Machina
Creed
Mad Max
Star Wars
The Big Short
Steve Jobs
When Marnie Was There
The Hateful Eight
Macbeth

Also enjoyed Antman and Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation.

Can't think of any more. But it's a weak list and I'll mention zero foreign (non-mainstream ones) movies. But I can even erase some from the list that I gave. From what I've seen it was a very weak year for movies. But I'm yet to catch up with many.

I like all the ones you mentioned though. :p

I'm curious to see what you'll think about Knight of Cups. There's zero plot and almost zero dialogue, and it's basically two hours with beautiful pictures and, from time to time, voice-overs about how shallow the world is. I think 95% of all people will hate it, but if you like Malick and know what you're getting into, it's quite good imo.

Relatos Salvajes (if that counts for 2015) was also good and I'd place it on the list. There are probably more I'd mention but can't remember.

I love Malick but I really don't know as I didn't like the trailer (yeah, I know! :D). What bothers me at this point is the lack of dialogs. I'll see if I like it tho.

I loved Wild Tales too. :D

I think it's pretty safe to say that Malick will never do something as good as The Thin Red Line or The Tree of Life again, but after To The Wonder I was pleasantly surprised by Knight of Cups. But yeah, it couldn't be more minimalistic. :D

Oh ffs

Have you seen some of the rocks here in the Tyrolean alps though? Hard to say no.
Seriously though, it's soooo good. The absurdist humor is wonderful, but it's so much more than just funny. The way it shows how we're losing something human in this technology-dominated world is nothing short of brilliant.

The Dansih Girl @Völler :touched:

them Mad Max oscars though...it is a action popcorn movie, they usually never
get so much credit. what's going on?

...and Chris Rock is so funny. not.
