It's alright to have fun, do it by celebrating 4th of July if you want to. That patriotism that makes you proud to be American on 4th of July is the same patriotism which leads you to like a movie about a psychopath and the glorification of his high powered rifle in the middle east.

Not true, there are plenty of democrats here that don't like the movie for the same reasons yet celebrate the 4th of July. I see what you are saying but don't confuse blind patriotism that you are thinking with all Americans that are patriotic.
