Good. Me too.

Jarmusch

And Isaach De Bankolé. I'm a big fan of his, ever since seeing him in Otomo in 1999. Been searching out all his films. He's been on a pretty good run of films since Limits of Control. Clair Denis' White Material, Dosunmu's Mother of George, Phillipe Lacote's Run, and Hajdu's Mirage. All excellent performances by Bankolé.

Yes. That was bizarre for me too. I don't see how it suffers when directly compared to other Jarmusch films that received excellent reviews. People criticize the slow pacing and the strangeness of the dialogue, but clearly seem to neglect the fact that the slow pacing and confused dialogues lend weight to its nature as an abstract and minimalistic thriller. As the Village Voice review stated, it's a film of "absurd, enigmatic repetitions"... and this doesn't take away from its quality, but adds to it.

Hoberman at The Village Voice, was one of the only reviewers that really seemed to get what this film was driving at, what it was trying to create. It's a beautiful film.

It's not as good as the two above under Melville's direction. But it's pretty darn good nonetheless.

Bronson's late film Death Wish V was filmed partly in my childhood home. We got moved out for two weeks while they shot the scenes there. Terrible film though.

You going senile, discussed Delon/La Samourai&Cercle de rouge few times throughout the years :p

Last year I rewatched the movie just because I saw Delon play Julius Caesar in Asterix and Obelix :D Downloaded this below movie with him same time, just saw it on my hard drive again, havent seen it yet (as I told Mohad, I download so many movies and forget to watch them, something wrong with me :p):
