Its well done and portraits a piece of rock history. You need to sit through a lot of "digital bad, analogue good" bs, but as a fan of almost every person in the movie I enjoyed it.
:tup: I think it's kind of obnoxious and out of touch in a little way, not all musicians can afford to spend time in (tape) recording studios with Neve consoles and the like, but still fairly good nonetheless.

I also love it when they're jamming in Grohl's home studio, straight to tape. They're all like "Oh yeah, it sounds AWESOME dude".

Of course it sounds awesome, you've got 20 million dollars worth of equipment in there :lol:
