However, my favourite film of the year so far, was Jarmusch's Only Lovers Left Alive. The man is a genius. That film is just so cool, and such an awesome soundtrack!

Jarmush is dope....one of the few genius filmmakers out there.....his films have always been cool, subtle and has that jazz feel to them....and 'only lovers left alive' is no different.....

Heavy shit!

Heavy indeed Banderas, Snipes, Ford and Gibson, just lol. This is seriously just icons having fun hehe, very random and playful casting. Too bad the movies are pretty meh compared to what they could be if done for real, but they are decent fleeting fun fair atleast.

Its about Dracula, is in historical setting and it has Luke Evans (and Charles Dance) who is a pretty badass actor. So thats 3 things that peaked my interest, but trailer really showed like EVERYTHING the movie has more or less, what gives with trailers these past years.

Now that I seen the trailer I agree ofcourse, but read historical fiction of Vlad Tepes, hence was even intrigued if this movie would go for the historical Vlad Tepes vs the Ottomans bit and not just Dracula the monster bit. But apparently they are just paying lip service to that hehe. But atleast it has Luke Evans.

Thanks, I downloaded Blue ruin, like father like son, le passe and Omar. I already know the first one (was very close to seeing it in cinema months ago), cant find torrent of snowpiercer, and under the skin and only lovers left alive I checked up and they sound like they would bore me to absolute tears.

Snowpiercer is pretty good. I highly recommend all of Joon-ho bong's movies. Memories of murder, The host and Madeo.

I seen memories of murder and the Host (used to watch LOTS of korean movies couple years ago). Both extremely good in their weird ways. Not seen Madeo.

Yep, Snowrider is pretty entertaining. Amazing action scences and great concept.

Yeah it was a little odd. The ending in the comic book is very pessimistic but perfect, way better than the film.

Btw I watched Life of Pi just recently and I loved it.

Watched Transcendence. Despite bad reviews I really liked that movie, maybe because that topic interests me greatly.

I just want to point out one thing though. Kate Mara has to be one of the most annoying actresses. Her role and performance in this movie was the worst part of it. All of the movie I was hoping someone would finally shoot her.

Been on a Jack Nicholson marathon lately. Never get tired of watching this guy. has he ever had a bad performance? Dont think there are any consistently better actors than him. unlike my other two favourite actors De Niro and Pacinco he was still able keep making great movies as he got older.

I liked Joon-ho Bong's previous movies, but I didn't like Snowpiercer one bit. Too many flaws to be taken seriously.

Diarios De Motocicletas - Wow, terrific movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I want to make a road trip through Sudamerica myself.
