I've watched the Before trilogy too, through out the years. Good acting by Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, but I didn't like any of the movies in particular. I don't see the point in making a movie about two people arguing about their relationship for 2 hours. A lot of people probably experience that in real life, but its not something I want to watch at the movies.

Gravity was awesome indeed, one of the few good movies this year.

Gravity was great indeed. I felt it only had one flaw in the story, i.e. the part where Clooney has to let go of the tether or else both will die. I think the rope was strong enough to hold both of them. Plus if she only pulled him a little towards her, they could've avoided it all. But that bit of scientific inaccuracy was perhaps needed to keep the story going.

Ok, weirdest thing happened last night.

After skipping watching The Machinist like at least 10 times I've decided to finally give it a go. I actually started watching Spirited Away, but after like 15 minutes I told my brother we should watch The Machinist instead and he was fine with it. So, we started watching. It was a big brain fuck. Really, really big brain fuck. However, after the movie ended I decided to go sleep. So I turned the lights off and right before hitting my bed I looked at the clock and IT WAS 01:30 MINUTES! (those who watches the movie will know why). I was like WHAT THE FUCK, DID THIS JUST HAPPEN? I looked like an idiot and even called my brother, he started laughing and I was like fuck you that ain't funny. Seriously... what are the odds of that happening! Jeez... and it was actually one of the worst nights. Fuck that clock.

Saw the new Thor movie. Was wavering on seeing Captain Phillips and decided against it. Highly enjoyable. Thor is definitely the most well done of the Marvel characters.

Thor 2 was straight up good entertainment, fun sci fi adventure (way more expansive one then the first) and good action (Loki was hella fun). Hope for Captain america 2's sake that its like Thor 2nd, which was quite better then its first installment, because Captain america the first was only really weak first edition one so far (I understand sequels being weaker, like Iron mans, but lost cause if first movie too is weak).

Captain America was not weak. That movie was straight up boss. It was more drama than action but it was so well done. I personally liked it a lot.

I like Captain America the comic character, but the movie was straight up mess, didnt go anywhere and it just fell flat (I say this as someone who expects very little from this genre and generally get entertained without minimum fuss), thats despite having fairly good casting IMO. The problem was the director clearly was a hack. Hopefully its not the same one this time around, or it will be Green lantern level of bad again.
