Really, a ghost of a young girl going "Rahhh!" is something that scares people?

I shit myself regardless of the quality of the movie.

The Amittyville Horror is kind of a true story. A guy did kill his entire family in a single night, but whether it was ghosts or his own insanity that drove him to it is for you to decide.

Just started watching The Conjuration. I'm a big old school horror fan and heard great things about this one.

Well, it was ok. Same old horror cliches to be honest. Maybe just a bit better than your average horror movie for the acting was pretty good.

Yet didn't scare me one bit. In fact there hasn't been a single horror movie in the last 20 years that actually got me scared.

Gary Oldman is usually good but in this movie he was a sleeping pill. The entire movie was a big fail anyway.

Watched Get the Gringo yesterday and Prisoners today. Enjoyed both movies.
Get the Gringo - very good Gibson shows us how a mexican prison-city works. Decent amount of action, well made and interesting. Pretty good movie overall.
Prisoners - firstly i must say that i love movies like Zodiac and Silence of the Lambs, this one was maybe a little bit too long but still good. Enjoyed Gyllenhaal role more than others, maybe because he played in Zodiac as well. If you like dark crime thrillers go for it.
