The thing about Batman is that it doesn't really matter who portrays him. Most of the time, his face is under a mask, and his voice is modulated. Seriously, how many of you actually pictured Bale when you saw Batman? I imagine not many, because in the movies, Batman is all about the suit, the action and to some extent his voice during dialogues.

Plus, I doubt that Ben would need to give a strong portrayal of Bruce Wayne when compared to the Dark Knight trilogy. As much as it was about Bruce and his character, I believe that this movie is gonna be about Batman and not Bruce Wayne. So I don't really get what the hullabaloo is about. Calm the fuck down and judge him once the movie is out!

Christian Bale's batman died in the movie. I didn't say that the character itself died in the movie, just Bale's interpretation of it, which is why it would make no sense to have him in the Man of Steel sequel.

My favorite top comment on this video? "Yeah Affleck can't do this"

Anyway, I'm going to see World's End this weekend. If it is anything remotely close to Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, I'm in for a treat.
Definitely want to see this, there are fewer & fewer "comedies" these days that actually make me laugh, hoping this is an exception. I loved the other two films as well.

Adding Elysium to my list too based on the comments I'm reading here.

I am glad others remember this film
Great movie... I havent seen it all the way through in about 15 years or so, but a classic. Must have seen it 20 times when I was a kid. It was my first introduction to Keaton.

I worked for a guy a couple years ago, we were talking about Keaton and I mentioned this movie and he just went off quoting it left and right. I couldn't believe how much he had memorized. It was impressive.
