Nope. But Tuscany looks like a place I would go. I like the geography and the American version of the food.
Had I a job that would allow me to work from anywhere, it seems like a lovely place to settle down. I love how peaceful it looks and the whole country side thing and the old houses. I can see myself waking up to that every morning.

I really enjoyed that movie for that very reason. It did a wonderful job of accenting the countryside. The scenery is almost its own character.

I very much agree. I just watched the scene where she went olive picking and tried eating the olive straight from the tree and was horrified by the taste. Even these small things want to make you experience it even more. I could not have ever imagine being horrified by the taste of an olive but I guess it's bad before processing or something. In any case I want to spit out an olive too. :D

I think olives are supposed to sit a while before you eat them. But yeah, I get that. You want to take everything in and get a fuller experience. I think everyone should do that when they travel.

I just read where you have to cure 'em in salt first. What do they taste like raw Alc?
not good. nothing better than cured kalamata olives  I could sit there and eat a whole jar of them. I just found a massive jar of them in the cupboard before which my mum must have just bought and I'm gonna go nuts on them :D

wow, this is pretty off-topic.
