I watched The Perfect Host while working this afternoon. Pretty good watch, small creepy, crazy crime thriller thing.
saw it a couple of weeks ago too - a pretty good thriller that went largely unnoticed

Saw this one, very brutal and intriguing revenge thriller, recommend it especially if you have seen too many cookie cute movies in a row hehe:
really liked this one, even if some people may find it a bit too brutal ... one of those movies that stay with you for a while

It was one of the most unique movies I seen in a very long time, and I dont mean the serial killer/psycho thriller part of it, but 2 hours and half of ridicolously intense and dark noire-ish dramatic mood where the "good" guy has this insane plot to toy and punish the "devil" in, and completely loses himself while doing so. Some very compelling scenes in it.

:agree:

"The Man from Nowhere" and "Confessions" - two other very good movies from the Far East that don't cross into the realm of horror and aren't as brutal as "I saw the Devil"

The man from nowhere is like a kids movie compared to this one :D But they are different genres. Confessions is on my queue for lovefilm movies, I think.

which is why I recommended them for people who find I saw the Devil too strong :p ... Confessions is a psychological thriller, I'd say ... not exactly what I would put on my lovefilm queue but whatever floats your boat :D

If it confuses you, lovefilm is the movie rental service's name (like european netflix) and not actually any indication of movies they offer :D

Saw Pulp Fiction for the first time a couple of days ago. It was pretty good, but not amazing. I reckon Resevoir Dogs is way better.

lol i rewatched it a couple months ago... Still a great movie. Too bad the sequels did not live up to the original.
Yeah the first one is great, original and intriguing, whereas the others were made just to milk it, decent sci-fi movies all the same.

That phone :lol2: Yes, I admit I wanted one after watching the movie.
:D, one of my favourite phones from that era besides the 3310, was my Sony CMD-J6. It had scroller on the side that was well handy for texting

A friend of mine had the Sony CMD Z5, it also has the same scroller on the side and he used to brag about it a lot. Man phones these times. That was my first mobile phone, it was horrible but I was so proud of it

I watched Cowboys and Aliens the other day and i fucking loved it. Both Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford were kick ass.
