go see it...the avengers and something with a battle for hunger will be next + that animation with the hairy orange, looks completely 3d'd from the trailer

    Rather tomboyish? That's ok, she seems like a nice girl next door type. And she likes hobbits. Anybody who appreciates Tolkien has to be fantastic.
    YES! That's the word, I hate "girls" like that, tomboyish... yucks...

    a local movie that got good reviews at the toronto film festival. our local movies in general are utter crap, overacting, bad editing/cinematography etc... but this one was surprisingly good, not so much of the plot but how it was made and the script - very poetic. also the movie was in a certain dialect throughout - that was a very refreshing change.

    A Separation - I don't get to see many Iranian flicks. It was a good movie, albeit heavy on the personal drama.

    And for as much time as they show Persian families in the kitchen, somehow nobody is ever eating. Not sure if that's a movie-making cultural thing or what...
