Ironclad.
Extremely gory (accurate in that sense) 13th century medieval fare, based on a real historical event, set at Rochester Castle (which incidentally I've been to, and it still looks magnificent). Ok, so they used a bit of artistic license on the story.
A brave few defend a castle from a big army. The great Dane secondary anti-hero is a huge Viking with long blonde hair and a battle axe.
Yeah, we've all seen this movie before. The saving grace is probably Paul Giamatti as King John. His character is actually really dislikeable and tormented. Fights scenes are some of the more realistic you will see for people fighting with broad swords and axes.
Overall, 5 or 6/10 for me.
