More like 2,5 hours, but I get your point :D

I don't hate Michael Bay movies in general though (Bad Boys was fun, The Rock as well, The Island decent enough), but I recently endured the 2nd Transformers and that was just torture. Basically an unwatchable mess. And the first one wasn't exactly an enjoyable watch either.
I can't watch them, I get too annoyed. His way of editing, the angles he uses and the music all adds up to this plastic moviemaking which infuriates me. ( Case in point, the scene in Armageddon where Affleck and Tyler are "oh so In love" ). I like alot of mainstream movies, but his work is almost parading around with a sign saying "I sold my artistic soul, please watch the explosions and eat pop corn".

My point is: I don't like Michael Bay.

Habemus Papam. Lovely, lovely movie. :touched:

You can make a movie to be provocative, loud, shocking. You can also make one to be subtle, friendly, amusing. Really like Moretti as the shrink.

127 Hours is good.

Men Who Stare At Goats - I really liked it, it was weird but nice nonetheless.
Ides of March - Not much of a story, but brilliant performances overall. Recommended just for that.

That's how I felt about the book. I liked how it started, but it didn't live up to its promise.

The Goon - Better then I had expected, the fight scenes (which obviously make up a large bulk of the movie) are great, very violent but somehow very funny.

I liked The Road, but then I am a sucker for apocalypse type films. Speaking of which, 12 Monkeys is long overdue another watch.
