War Horse

Wasn't entirely interested to see it. Saw it. That's how you put together a film. Sappy story aside, that was shot as well as any other.

Interesting side note: that was the craziest sniffle to minutes of film ratio I've experienced. I mean, people were on the verge of tears for most of the movie. If Old Yeller or My Girl gets you, and you feel bad about it. Avoid this movie.

Also, I think people will dislike it because of its narrative, lack of principle acting, and sappiness. However, I just wanted to point out that it's really well put together.

Clue no. 1 to avoid a movie - when the main cast is a horse.

I have not seen the movie, just watched a two minute trailer and it almost put me to sleep.

I got dragged to it after NYE dinner, but it's well done. No matter your feelings on the story.

Oh and it made all the old people "cry".

Just saw the Benjamin Button movie. It was almost 2½ hours long but I could have watched it for 5 hours. Amazing movie.

MI4 was a decent action flick. All the action scenes were well done and the Burj scene alone was worth the money I paid for the ticket. Can't ask more from a 'masala' movie..

I know I am probably posting this on the wrong forum but Pride and Predjudice is definitely one of THE best movies I've seen. The Keira Knightly version.

Recently watched a couple of movies.

The Devil's Double I really liked it. Interesting story about Uday's double. Had some scenes that were historically incorrect, but didn't really matter that much. 7.5/10

The Ides of March Slow paced, but what to expect from a movie of this genre. Ryan Gosling's acting is great. Enjoyed it. 7/10

Moneyball This one too, alot of dialogue. I know nothing about Baseball, but this movies was amazing. Suprised me even if I always expect great performances from Mr. Pitt. 7.9/10
