I am watching The Flags of Our Fathers .... I can't believe I have been wasting my time on this piece of crap and still am. Are all Clint Eastwood movies (as director) so much boring?

Not really, that's his worst flick by a long stretch. Letters to Iwo Jima is far better. As is Gran Torino, Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby, Invictus.

No, that was Eastwood. I forgot about that one. I disliked it (because of the harsh ending) but think it's a well made film.

Me too. I don't think I'll see it in the cinema. If the make up job is as bad as it looks in the trailers, then it will spoil the experience for me.
