I second that. With almost no dialog, it's also a curiosity of the time it was created -- between writers' strikes and a momentary surplus of people who do special effects in the UK.
watched "the whistleblower" last night and despite a boring beginning it really picks up and revolves around sex trafficking that toke place in the after mass of the bosnian war. really grabbed my attention.
That movie was a disgrace. Such sloppy work really ruined what could have been an eye-opening movie. Half the indigenous people were speaking Russian, muslim names for Serbs and Serbian names for Muslims. Bad story progression etc etc. I wasn't pleased with it, at all.

Didn't even think of that, good point. Kevin Spacey actually gave me heads up on the movie when I had a ginger ale with him in London - what a cool afternoon
Btw, I saw The Descendants last week. It was an un-Clooney-like role, but a great acting cast. Well done. Recommended if you like good stories in your movies and can tolerate a lack of explosions and gunshots.
Just finished it. I didn't even know he was retiring from directing, strange that he should do so after this movie - which in terms of directing is much better than anything he has ever done before.
