Just wanted to come and say: Ennio Morricone is the greatest composer of all time.

He composed the music for a lot of movies. His music never fails to influence me.

Super

Personally, i absolutely loved this movie with it's dark humour and acting. Ellen Page was bloody fantastic imo & really got the movie going for me. The beginning was a bit drab but as you give it time it draws you in. With the obvious comparisons with Kick Ass, this movie provides some great shock value & the plot was okay, little more realistic.

La Meglio Gioventu' - With a runtime of 6 hours, there was always the risk that this would turn out to be an endurance test more than anything else. But it's really not. Hell, the last hour or so literally flew by.
This is just a beautiful film about (the history of) a beautiful, but very flawed, country. Loved how they touched upon so many important events, (in)directly relating them to the main characters. Quite a few very powerful scenes.
Some of the supporting actors (those in really small roles) were a bit iffy, but that's really my only complaint. Will definitely watch this again at some point.

A sense of humour at times as well: "E comunque ... comunque!"
