King's Speech - Great performance by Firth, but the movie itself was rather average.
The Adjustment Bureau - Nice movie, if you can get passed the sci-fi stuff.
Jalla! Jalla! - Hilarious.

Mulholland Dr. Great great great movie. I then read Lynch's 10 given clues to unlock its mysteries (it didn't help that much though). The more you discover the more you enjoy the movie.

Nader and Simin, A Separation. An excellent drama about how people justify their faults to the point that they also believe that "it wasn't their fault". When everyone and no one is to blame at the same time.

I really liked it
I don't understand anyone enjoying Mulholland Drive.

.
I thought the King's Speech was good, Firth was really good, but Geoffrey Rush outperformed everybody. He was fantastic, and definitely deserved an Oscar.
Kudos to the writers too for making an interesting story/plot out of such thing. Overall, I would give the movie an 8/10

I watched Sucker Punch, which was unexpected but could have been much better with better writing, the story kinda sucked and acting was just pretty average, but the effects were very very good..The girls Emily Browning and Vanessa Hudgens were such hotties,I would not mind being raped by either one of them or both :D
but i would suggest wait for a dvd or blu ray release instead of spending $ watching in the cinemas..

ps: JGL,Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy are confirmed for The Dark Knight Rises..

How come?

It may just be my favourite Lynch. The fact that it's almost impossible to decipher doesn't even bother me that much: the outcome isn't that great, but the "ride" is dazzling. If that makes any sense?

Watched Das Weisse Band yesterday. It's good, with some great casting, but not as brilliant as I had hoped. A few more answers would have been very welcome, even if that might have weakened the impact.

So impossible to decipher and disappointing outcome are ok as long as the "artistic" approach is realized?

Not in general, no. I usually even dislike those movies a lot.

However, I do think that Mulholland Drive is great while you're watching it, with a number of extremely well made scenes, brilliant atmosphere. So great even that the lack of explanations doesn't bother me one bit.
What I also like about it, is that the movie has this real "American" feel to it, despite the tricky plot. At one moment you're watching an extremely straightforward, typical scene & the next you're seeing stuff that doesn't add up. I like that lack of balance.

I can see how someone would dislike that movie though.

I am not arguing about that, it's just the disappointment and the completely unnecessary disambiguation that made me dislike the movie, I enjoyed it while watching it, I read Lynch's hints and watched it again in attempt to understand more but failed miserably. Only then I decided that the whole thing was a big joke.

Lynch's hints barely help. I assure you, the moment you unlock the mysteries, you will suddenly think that you have watched a great, a very great movie. What didn't you understand about it? Do you reckon that the first part of the film is actually happening in Betty/Diane's dream?

I simply can't answer you that right now as I barely remember anything about the movie.

Hahaha, indeed hilarious. I am on of the few people in this world that finds it extra hilarious by the way.
No its not, its fucking insanely hilarious :D "Hallo Moms, nej nej Måns, ooh hallo Moms" :D
I like it how Roro's dad uses his belly to knock people out. :D Recommend me some similar Swedish movies guys.

Regarding Mulholland Dr., I remember being very impressed when it first came out a decade ago, don't remember anything now as well. Will watch it again as well.

I just finished watching Tetro, its beautifully directed by Coppola. Its one of those movies that will stay with you for some time. A definite must watch, but not for the young crowd.

Kopps is a movie from the same gang who did Jalla Jalla.

Buck, Hoori, I am getting the movie on Bluray. I will watch it again soon and come back to you.
All right, but don't blame us if it turns out you spent money on something you dislike :D

Extract: the latest movie by the guy who made Office Space. Quite uneven at times, but still very entertaining & mostly amusing dialogue(s). This one probably won't become a cult favourite.
