Very slick and incredible movie of the french resistance movement in WWII. By Mellville, and with Lino Ventura as the lead. Recommend it.

Really very good movie, kind that kinda sneaks up on you. Was randomly watching it on tv, didnt even know of the title movie when watching it (until the end). Kind of good lovestory movie that doesnt even make you think for a sec "oh is a genre romantic movie".
