Come to think of it, Pacino's life must be a lot like the character in the movie. Just got out of jail, he wants to change his life, do something different. Meanwhile everyone's coming up to him with offers "cmon, do this other gangster movie, you'll be great in it, just like old times". Just like the character he falls for it, out of loyalty, or because he owes favors. And there's no way out.

don't get me started,i think the Pacino in his early works is sensational, the way he portayed Michael Corleone,he said more with a look than all the arm flailing, gesticulating, shout at the top of voice,OTT performances he has subjected us to in recent years.....

I'm afraid it isn't wrong.

Pacino in the Godfather is one of the finest performances in Hollywood history. Performances like the one in Scent of a Woman is one De Niro couldn't pull off either.
au contraire, his performance in the Godfather part 2 is equally brilliant

I like them both equally but unlike De niro, Pacino hasn't been able to stay consistent he has come out with some real stinkers in recent years but his earlier days were epic. One of my favourite Pacino performances was from a film that maybe not many people have seen it's called Scarecrow and he stars alongside Gene Hackman. Love it.

I recently watched "Inception", it's pretty good, but it's somehow similar to Shutter Island, especially Di Caprio's acting is almost identical.

Grown Ups - I really expected a lot more, big disappointment for me...

I didn't like it, they had few good jokes and that's it. Not to mention that I really had bigger expectations from actors such us Chris Rock, Adam Sandler and Kevin James...
