No it isnt, it relies on people at home having 3d glasses. Otherwise you cannot watch it.
Those 3D glasses my cinema is selling for €1? Oh, yeah, that'll be a major disincentive. Every major TV manufacturer released a 3D TV at CES 2010. And while the home market is gearing up, 2D versions of those movies are trivial to pirate.

I'll take that as: "Fuck no! Avatar is the greatest movie ever!"

:D
:D

The greatest movie for me is "The lives of others"

But Avatar 3-D was a whole new concept of enjoyment and entertainment, I loved the characters, Pandora, the script wasn't bad at all, very Cameron...the storyline was average, but it was action packed and fun. Lots of hidden messages in the movie too. Cameron does it the best. Too bad only he can break his own records.

If you're not a Science fiction fan, stay away from Avatar. Or at least learn to appreciate what Cameron has done.

Rosso come il cielo

Finally a movie that's decent. 10 year old kid has a horrible accident and loses his sight. Gets sent to a school with other kids that can't see. Turns out he is wonderfully imaginative about sounds and making recordings of all kinds of things.

If 3D tv is the future then i am giving up on humanity. There is absolutely no reason for it. I am going on what my dept at uni, james king and mark kermode are saying about 3D, i trust the experts as opposed to irish person on the internet when it comes to things like the movie industry.

I have a PhD in 3D imaging. Mark Kermode can suck my over-educated cock.
