Seen Le Samourai? If not, do so asap.

That guy is simply one of the coolest actors on celluloid, and yes, the most gorgeous looking dude I ever seen prolly, hehe.
I haven't seen that. The Red Circle was the first movie of his I watched and I loved the man more than the movie itself

Dusko hadnt seen Fightclub and Seven, Mainstream block buster movies of the 90s until recently, so him not being aware of a 30s all time classic is not so suprising in that context.
I didn't really like Seven to be honest but Fight Club was great. Still, not knowing about Gone With the Wind is a disgrace :D

For me its a mix of all but usually when friends say a movie is bad i expect it to be good and vice verca. Imdb ratings give me a hint but the forum show me the different perceptions of the movie. I go to see the movie and find out which group i agree with, if any. Movie directors too count a lot for me.
Same here. IMDB rating is still the first thing I care about.

I usually rely on friend's recommendation. After that I always check IMDB's rating. If it's under 6 I don't watch it unless the actors are good or if it's a stupid teen comedy with hot chicks in it, I don't care about the rating then.
The hell with the movie plot, the script, the directing and the acting. Hot chicks are more capable of bringing money to the producers :D

I just watched Spread - a lot banging there and it's pretty boring but the ending credits was the best part of the movie (not being sarcastic there's an interesting part of a frog eating a mice), almost made it worthwhile

I had to watch Mr and Mrs Smith 14 times before I could fully understand its deep theme.
