Ebert has written a very good review on it, giving it a 4/4. The story being set in the year 2154 with James Cameron as the director, you wouldn't be disappointed I guess. It depends a lot on your taste in movies though. If you are not a Star Wars fan, you probably wouldn't like Avatar either

I liked that movie. It was arguably the most touching rendering of a married relationship I have ever seen in an animated feature. That was one of its more unusual aspects, but I liked it for more than that.

I actually wanted to emphasize on the genres; Sci-Fi, action, adventure. Some people are just not into these types of movies, so if someone doesn't like the best movie of these genres, why bother watching Avatar?

Hunger - It was made by 'artist' Steve McQueen and its about what happened in Maize prison in 1981. I find it to be a very well made film, it is really good to watch and it only has about 10-15 minutes of speech in a 120 min film. The only negative with it is that i didnt sympathise with the characters because imo they are terrorists (not because im British, its just imo there is no Freedom Fighter, there is only a Terrorist) If it were made about latin american/muslim extremist/the founding fathers terrorism i would hold the same opinion.

That isnt what i said, i said i didnt sympathise with them because they were terrorists. The way they were treated in prison was barbaric, but so were their crimes in the first place. Have you seen the film?

Have you seen In the Name of The Father? It's damn near 100% accurate with regard to the events and shows what douchebags the british people were towards Catholic Irish during the troubles.

Btw most of them were interned, which means they had no trial so you can't label them criminal if they haven't had not at that time been convicted of any crime. I'd also like to point out that your taking an eye for an eye approach to this you closet Biblicist.

Ok i dont sympathise with their demands, they are criminals, a terrorist is a criminal im not going to make any bones about it. The way that British guards treated the non conforming prisoners was disgraceful. The claims for political prisonship goes fundamentally against what i believe the judicial service is for (and if you are a liberatarian it does for you aswell) A judicial service is for firstly reform of character and secondly protection of public. If a prisoner were to be given political prisonship, it then justifies their crime and there is no reformation of character.

Whatever you think a prison should be, they should not have been in prison without evidence and a conviction
