Scarface is just what it's hyped up to be, though I don't know how 16 year old cokeheads hype it up.

The first one no but the other two yes.

I honestly don't think I can say which actor I like more, maybe Pacino if I have to because of Scarface but I notice that De Niro does have more of a 'presence' and he has just some kind of enigma more so than Pacino, they both have the same thing but De Niro just has more of it, I can't really explain what it is but De Niro has more.

if you remove the previous 10 years from his career then i might agree, but nicholson keeps making quality films while i'm beginning to suspect de niro has the same agent as nicholas cage.

Nicholson is only in quality movies and even if he's in an average movie (like anger management) he makes it way better than what it could have been with somebody else.

Yeah, but what De Niro's done overall is better imo. I like Jack too, he's the definition of a cool cat but De Niro gets it for me.

Really?

He's made 6 movies the past 10 years. And only 2 of those are "quality": About Schmidt & The Departed. (Not saying that some of those others are not enjoyable to watch though.)

Really good movie, interesting performance from Pacino, but it is wayyyyy too hyped. I was a massive fan of it when I was 16/17 years old but having watched it again a year or so ago, I didn't enjoy it as much as I once did.

Contraband is bog standard, uninteresting action movie fare. Worth a watch if you have some spare time, but it's not anything overly special.

There's some pretty decent action. The scene in Panama is quite awesome (and over the top) and is probably the best part of the movie.

Fast and Furious 5 is actually pretty decent if you haven't seen it.
