I just watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, simply amazing, it is way much better than the original version in every aspect of movie making and acting except for Noomi Rapace which came on par with the American girl.

David Fincher once again amazes me except for that one time.

i'd definately recommend watching four lions, it is funny as hell, it is basically about these wanna be terrorists f*cking things up in general, really good comedy and well worth a watch, it has the guy who does fonejacker, this is a taster
Fucking Four Lions, saw it when it came out. One of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. Hysterical dialogues :D

If you haven't seen the original movie or read the books, you're up to a great entertainment.

I think I'll give it a try soon. Maybe for the weekend.

Both awful looking.
So is the character in the book if that's your taste, but that was not the question.

Personally, this character I find extremely attractive and I think both actresses excelled in the role, each with a different input. I can't judge though on who came out better. I guess I have to read the book to judge properly.

I still can't understand why anyone thinks these stories are good.

Well, understanding is tricky, at least we have something to live for.
Understanding these two last questions is the least of my concern though, I know that there is an obvious explanation which is called taste and that's just fine by me.

They were both very good interpretations of the character. Two great performances, I wouldn't try to rank them.
