how does it compare to original?
That's what I'd like to know as well. I'll most likely watch it anyway, but all these remakes made immediately after the original are somewhat a waste of time.
And chances of liking them more than the original are pretty slim for me. Because it's not "fresh", I guess. One of the reasons I haven't watched Let Me In for example. The original was brilliant (definitely one I will watch again some day) & I am curious what they did with it but at the same time I'm quite apprehensive. Even if it seems to be quite well done, based on what I read/heard.
This being said, the original Dragon Tattoo film wasn't exactly that great.

), which is nowhere near Hitchcock's best but still extremely entertaining and, to counter too much seriousness,
