I'm not sure what to make of it. I hate this Americanizing of good foreign films. Though sometimes it turns out decent, like What Women Want.

Dont know what women want is, but even if a remake may turn out a good "adaption", I find the concept detestable, especially when the movies they are remaking are only few years old...

And not like several decades old like most remakes used to be (then it was truly about re-telling a story to a completely new generation). Now only reason movie like this and other asian/european movies have been remade when movies barely reach half decade of age, is because apparently Hollywoods costumers are too lazy to read subtitles? Heh.

What Women Want is a Mel Gibson rom-com about a guy that gets the ability to read the mind of women. It was a remake of a Korean film by the same name.

I am looking forward to the Dragon Tattoo remakes though. I think the original films were good, but I'm interested to compare what Fincher comes up with.

yeah bro i have to buy this brooklyn cap, i love him one of the best directors out there i trust him blind i just go to cinema when a new spike lee film is out i dont need to know anything about the film just spike lees name is enough for me to pay the ticket allthough i have some fav directors where i dont read anything or dont watch the trailer

Holy shit, they better not fuck it up. Old Boy is one of the best mind fuck movies I've seen.
