@Osmen
The 3D stuff.. didn't really add anything to it.
It's very cheap 3D - they converted it in a few weeks of post-production after Avatar did so well. The important actors in each shot are popped into a plane of their own, like some sort of moving Guess Who game.

I found the film to be moderately entertaining. A more classically educated friend hated it for its liberties with Greek mythology.

This article is by someone who's seen the original script. The changes mostly sound like they dumbed things down, trading a lot of plot coherence and character development for small gains in pacing. Hard to tell, but it sounds like the better movie didn't get made.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's not a movie you watch with great expectation, it's just a brief period of mindless entertainment.

City of Life :tup:

I would not recommend it if you have not lived in the gulf at some stage in your life though.
I missed it at the last film festival. Finally got to watch it recently. It was a pleasant watch, cliched with the local parts, and hilarious at times. And I agree people who haven't lived here wouldn't get some parts of the movie.

To anyone who thinks The Big Lebowski is overrated :shutup:

Since lots you people seems to be hyped about Law Abiding Citizen. I have not seen it, and will not watch it, I just have one thing to say: Gerard Butler is one of the worst actors ever.
