I don't usually see Egyptian movies anywhere other than TV, I was going to see Avatar in some cinema but it wasn't there so I had to choose between 4 Egyptian movies and 2 lame American ones, so I let my friend pick any since it seemed I'll watse time and money anyway
but this turned out to be a lot better than I expected.. not just lame jokes and naked women as the usual of our cinema recently, it had a very good story and acting, i totally recommend it
the last good thing i've seen here was "Fi Sha'et Masr El Gedida" good stuff

exactly!! the industry is going down the drain with all the comedy movies that at times are lame, and if its not comedy its close to a porn movies which is done by amateurs :D so yeah i really would'nt waste money on them.

i do like bushra so this movie actually stands a chance with me :D i will give it a try. thanks for the recommendation naggar :pint:

then you have incredibly low expectations.
i, much like you jasper, have an appreciation of the finer, "films", if you will. i have no patience for predictable mainstream movies that are solely reliant on visual appeal, a barrage of recycled jokes and make no attempt to conceal it. i have found many of the comedies that you have mentioned to be fine example of human ingenuity and i am of your opinion when it comes to what movies to avoid. however, many people, fine intelligent people, like the good doctor here conscientiously choose to pander to such "unspeakable abominations". myself, have succumbed to the temptation and while i do not make a habit of it, i do firmly believe in the right that people have not to be castigated about it. you sir, make the mistake of judging to quickly and that makes you, at the very best, an annoyance.

i guess what i am really tying to say with this l rather lengthy paragraph is ... doesn't it hurt on your throat when you walk all day with a stick stuck up your ass so far in, that it affects aforementioned throat?

Edward Norton is great. He was amazing in Fight Club and American History X and now this one.

Any other movie of his that I missed?
:agree:also go for Primal Fear

Primal Fear is genius, I just recommended it to a friend a few days ago, you'll love it
Fight Club and American History X are 10/10 as well.

I like him in Kingdom of Heaven although he wasn't more than a voice under a mask! but he did a role of a great king
he also came for a short scene in "The Invention of Lying" as a cop who can't lie, he cracked me up

You guys all tell me to chill out all the time, or say i have stick up my (*(correct sp)) arse ((ass means donkey)) but i am no different to any of you, you all have things that you react to the same ammount (if not more) aggression as me. The annoying thing is that you all seem to hit those nerves with me quiet easily, it maybe my fault for choosing populist things to take exception too, who knows. Saying someone has low expectation in this case i wouldn't say is biggoted or as you have put it 'judging too quickly' 'The Hangover' was a film that recylced jokes, and low comedy for the most part (ie Mike Tyson punching to the beat of a phil collins song, in theatre terms that is low comedy before someone tries to accuse me of being a snob) making the film pretty low on whats coming out of it. So it is therefor logical for someone to have enjoyed the film to have low expectations from film as a whole, in comparison to the somewhat high expectations that you seem to think i have.

What i am trying to say in that paragraph is meh
