When you look at Chelsea, they are buying so many players, that I think that they will not form a real ''TEAM'', because they have so many players from different countries.
I think Abramovic is making a mistake with this
Welcome to the forums :)

I don't agree that Chelsea can't form a good team because they're from different countries. They achieved their highest ever position in the Premier League, and reached the semifinals of the Champions League, and that's in their first season without the team even gelling and getting used to playing with each other.

Juventus has players from Italy, Uruguay, Croatia, France, Ghana, Argentina, Czech Rebpublic and Holland, but that doesn't stop us from being a top team. Look at Real Madrid, who have arguably the best attack in football. They have players from France, Brazil, Portugal, England, Spain...

I really don't think having players from different countries determines a team's success. If anything, a club side that has players from the same country would be weak, due to their lack of options and the fact that they can't get the best players from their country. Besides, they all speak the language of football ;)
