Like I have said over and over again:

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND ANCIENT GREEK MYTHS.
Can the guy who gave me negative rep for this post, please explain WHY this post is intolerant. Could he also show me WHERE christianity differs from ancient greek myths? Oh wait, that would imply he has to prove the existence of a christian God. Well, I'm waiting dude.

Whatever. The Qu'ran was written by MAN. End of story.
lets put it this way.
you dont have any proof of the Qur'aan being written by man,and other people who belive in God dont have any proof of it being revealed on man by God.so stop trying to sound like you're CORRECT,because the chances of you being correct are equal to you being entirely mistaken.

    I agree with the post.

Both the bible and the Quoran were written by man.

what proof do you people have of the Qur'aan or Bible being written by man?
maybe you travelled back in time and you had a few drinks with a guy and he said "you know man,ive got nothing better to do..i know!.lets play a game.you write a book, and then ill write a book and then we'll give it a name,we'll write them for a girl called hollie.....and they'll be known as holy books..WOOHOO!!!"?

you people are putting forward a basless argument where you are trying to prove that the holy books were written by man, where in reality the chances of the holy books being written by man are equal to them being revealed upon man by God.and neither of these theories can be proved.so there is no definite answer.

No, weiner, the Catholics even say that the bible was written by man, they say it was done through "devine inspiration" which I think is billshit.

Ever wonder why the books of the bible have names?>

Because Mark and John were the mother fluckers who wrote them.

Well, the Bible, we can all agree was written by man by no divine inspiration. The Qur'an on the other hand is 100% God's words. Any sane man who's read it cannot deny that. Until then, Axl is right, there is no definite answer.

    ps: Axl, congrat's on the 2,000 ;)

I'm sorry but generally accepted principles and logic would dictate that believing a man, or men wrote a book, is a much clearer indication of sanity than claiming it to be the work of divine inspiration.

I wasn't making a connection between the Qur'an being written by divine inspiriation and because of that, it is sane. Sorry for being clear on that :p

Disregarding, for a moment, the divine inspiration or other divine influences in the creation of books such as Qu'ran or the Bible, the fact remains that, clinically put, the ink was put on paper by human hands, right?

Wouldn't you agree that is a point where there is room for doubt by the sceptics?

But of course, I understand that is what faith all about. Believing that said books contain the truth.

You're quite right. But to those that make assumptions without reading the contents have no right to do so. And I'm not trying to single out Burke, but in his first post he claimed that no where in the Qur'an is there a mention of other life, which is not true. Catch my drift?
