Warmed up dinner rarely successful? :howler:. Wasnt Lippi suppose to be one those when we signed him up?;). Come on Moggi, such generalization is wrong and unnecessary!

Anyway, why block Di Vaio for Canna exchange? I know Canna hasnt been playing at his best for last couple of years, but surely he is a quality CB (Which we are in dire need of) and Di Vaio is a bench warmer who misses, god know how many chances. Beside, we already have Del Piero, Miccoli, Trezeguet as our forwards, and if we add Gila into the mix - Heck, why do we need 5expensive attackers?!. Either he isnt going get Gilardino, which would be mad, or that he is willing to put up with 5strikers! Just as mad!
If we end of with just Oddo, Jankulovski, Zebina, Chellini and Emerson this year, I think we struggle quite a lot this season.

Yep, I agree with Poku here! Never believe Moggi! It will be totaly different and I do believe that some other players, or a player will arrive.

maybe he will sign gila, but leave him at parma as he kinda hinted??:D
I surely hope so... He'll sign someone big (someone expensive) last year it was Di Vaio, now we're waiting much more quality, hopefully he can do what we want... And Capello has his things to say too, I'm sure of that... ;)

Yeah, I am pretty sure Moggi is telling a lie, probably in an effort to increase his bargaining power but I cannot seriously believe that we rejected Canna for Di Vaio exchange. He better come up with better value for money deal, otherwise I would be pretty pissed off.
Maybe, we are getting Mexes or Ferrari.;)

From what hes saying right now, seems like Juve will be a very wing-playing team next year. That means Trez HAS TO perform, or else no-one else can benefit from all the wing crosses.

But this is BS, he has to sign one more central defender, hes lying, just like the Deschamps saga.

we currently have these wingers: Kapo, camo and rambo (slash wingback)
With jank likely we will have wingers but i dont think they are the taditional up and down wingers...the only way we would have that is jank lb with Rambo and kapo on the wings...otherwise we will not have real wingplay.

Camo will come on and have bursts of genius but rambo is a safer bet on the right.

But juve being a wing play team looks unlikely unless we get vicente or joaquin.

If you consider the age difference in canna to di viao, moggi made a good choice. You all say that canna is class etc, so is DYO. When given confidence, he is brilliant. the first half of the season, what a player!!

good point minty...dyo jus need confidence and maybe a starting shirt then he will score for fun...he is no doubt a very skilled played jus suffers from a sever confidence problem...no confidence no dyo....but with it he is lethal.

Genius; his a no good waste of space. I'd go futher than that: he is a hinderance to his own team, breaking down promising moves with his poor-mans Ortega doing a poor-mans Maradona act.

But juve being a wing play team looks unlikely unless we get vicente or joaquin. [/QUOTE]
Too true. Well said.
