joaquin is a tad overrated right now but the best is ronnie...he can even head the ball well....git.

Vicente has a way superior cross and a less stupid haircut.

He outshone Figo for Portugal, and has outshone Giggs at Man Utd towards the end of this season. That alone makes him amoung the best young wingers around.

Figo and Giggs are both simply over the hill. Ronaldo was very poor in the final stages of the ec04, where Figo was massive in the semi's and threatening in the final.

to me he is the most terifying prospect in the world at the mo why?? cos he is rapid as stink, faster feet than flatley, and can even shoot some bullit headers....a defender worst nightmare.

Well I don't beleive he IS such a nightmare once you get over the hype. Just analyse his game, he loses the ball to his opponent 19 of the 20 times. And he tries to go past his opponent every time he is on the ball.
His hype is much more threatening than his actual skills.

watched him all season and throught out the euro (till i disappeared into the wilderness)....the only guy to play him oput of a game was ashley cole....i agree he does loose the ball alot, but his threat down the wing is immense.

he looses the ball a lot becuase he is still a immature boy he wants to pose (he has two ****ing earings....surely becks heir)...showing skills and tricks, but when u watch him play when he doesnt try all the fancy moves he is often unstoppable...he doesnt yet have that balance, but when he does he will be a complete threat....but to me the fact he can skin ur defenders for fun makes him a immense threat.

when he has the ball at his feet, ronnie will either skin the defender for fun, or loose it trying (or if he is a good boy pass it bfore he looses it)

i will say on ethin gin ur favour ..... he is looking like a arrogant player who will tend to hog the ball, so if he continues his threat will diminish as he will not actually have any real final product, but only time will tell.
