I would have spent the 20mil euros for him, too much? yes, but who else could we get? consider that we really need him, i would pay that price because that is his value to us (specifically to our cause).
Look, I didn't mean to sound like an ass......im just baffled by ur comments about Moggi, even people who called him a cheat still praised his transfer doings.
I didn't say Moggi was doing it to protect the club, i think Moggi loves kicking people's ass at their own game. I think Moggi did it more for his pride and ego rather than for his love of Juventus. But he wasn't the sole mastermind.

I am angry about the injustice that moggi is getting! im not saying Moggi is innocent.
Justice is about equality and consistancy. If your not going to punish a guy for stealing than u cant punish anybody else for doing the same, and if ur going to give somebody the deathsentance for murder, you have to implement the same punishment for others who commint the same crime.
Moggi's crime was talkin to refs, and their coordinators along with harrasment to refs, but even the refs admited that he wasn't the only one nor was he the most frequent. Now, the way I see it, either they send the likes of Inter, Milan also to serie B or none of us go to serie B. That way, I say we can't say Moggi is totally to blame, partly, yes...
So I seriously can't accept the whole, moggi is the system, moggi sent us to serie B. blah blah blah....

Ofcourse Moggi didn't do all these by himself, he was part of the mafia that was controling the game. so don't come to me with that "everyone was doing, he just wanted to protect the club" crap

This is a statement that I agree with and gives proper/proportional discription of Moggi's involvement without all the dramatic "Moggi destroyed Italian football".
I would say he was already a mafia leader to begin with, now there's just more room to play.
Moggi's power/wealth couldn't go up against Morratti and Berlusconi. Agnelli could but unfortunately he passed.

Moggi had his merits nobody is questioning this but they way he reached his objectives are questionable. I'm not saying he was the only guilty party but he was guilty, no denying that either. I can understand people still idolise him at this forum but that is only a form of nostalgia. We were on top of the world back then and now we are one of the serie A teams nothing more.
But it is ridiculous to say that it doesn't matter how he obtained his and our success, that is downright criminal.
It will take years to get over this tragedy but I believe we are on the right track. Just cut the board some slack. They have to rebuild the mess he left them and that with Moggi breathing down their neck. I know he is a character but it annoys the hell out of me that he is still seeking attention. Annybody hear about Giraudo, Bettega, no... that is my point.

If the effort was to cleanse Italian football, then I'm sorry to say justice has still not been done. You cannot segregate Moggi's case without using it in the context of the other teams and people involved. He cheated? The case for his defence is as simple as stating that he did it to keep a level playing field. Pun intended.
I always thought the Italianfederation did a good job cuz this was all dealt with so fast. In Belgium we had something similar and the trial has yet to begin. We have already served our time. Maybe it was a bit hasty and I doubt all came to the surface. Galliani for instance is just as guilty I'd say but what do we know?
